During the first year of my son's life, I noticed that he was not meeting developmental milestones as quickly as many other babies his age. Fortunately, I took him to see Evelina. She immediately put both of us at ease and quickly identified the most efficient strategies to help him overcome his obstacles. My husband and I continue to be amazed at our son's progress, progress that we attribute in large part to Evelina's skill as a therapist and compassion and encouragement as a human being. If there has been a silver lining to my son's developmental delays, it has been that we have had the opportunity to get to know and learn from Evelina. She is simply the best!

I was at my wit's end. My daughter had seen three physical therapists and results were elusive. My daughter would cry and I was increasingly frustrated. Then we met Evelina. Evelina was able to get her to work hard while playing; Avery quickly started to love going to therapy and I learned the proper way to work with Avery at home. What had been a struggle was now fun! I firmly believe had it not been for Evelina, Avery would still be crawling at 18 months. I strongly recommend Evelina to any parent whose child needs physical therapy; she is an amazing therapist and friend.

My daughter has a rare neuromuscular disease and we had the good fortune of being referred to Evelina even prior to her diagnosis. At 2 months of age, my daughter's doctors told us she wasn't floppy but Evelina knew better and thankfully we listened to her. As time progressed the doctors told us Evelina had been right all along. She has undoubtedly been the most helpful person in our daughter's care. Besides her in depth knowledge of how to get our daughter as strong as she can be, Evelina noticed things that other therapists and doctors didn't - how our daughter drank from a bottle, closed her fists, favored one side - all which we've been able to improve thanks to Evelina. She is a wealth of knowledge and information but as important, she loves working with children. She is warm and energetic and our whole family loves her dearly. I don't know where we'd be without her!

I was so grateful from the minute Evelina started working with my 20 month old daughter. After only a few minutes of working with her, she had given me so much insight and advice. She assessed and treats the whole child. My daughter has tight heel cords and low muscle tone on her left calf and Evelina accurately determined that her whole left side is not well integrated and that she has weak core strength as well. Evelina helps my daughter while they're working together but also gives me great ideas for what I can do to continue that work at home, as well as referrals for doctors I've needed to try and determine the cause of my daughters problem. My daughter is always so excited to go to the gym and play and I'm so glad she's finally getting the help she needs.
